Enrico Cuini Sizing

You have questions, and we have answers.

We're here to explain everything you ever wanted to know about shoe sizing (and maybe even a few things you never even thought to ask)!

New to the brand, or just haven’t made it to one of our pop-up events yet? Enrico Cuini is dedicated to finding the right fit for everyone, especially those who have previously been labeled “hard to fit”.

Can I just order the same size in Enrico Cuini as I do with my other Italian/European shoes?

Probably. We have similar sizing to Jimmy Choo, Valentino, Manolo Blahnik, Gianvito Rossi, and YSL. We have different fitting from Louboutin in volume and width.

To be precise you can measure your feet using our FORM.

“I don’t know my European Size”

Spoiler alert: converting US to Euro sizes is not as simple as adding a 3 in front of your current size

In Europe, the last (mold around which the shoe is made) changes 3.3mm in length between each half size, while in the US, lasts change 4.23mm for every half size. The two systems don’t scale perfectly and the larger the size the greater the discrepancy. For more detail, see our quick reference page.

Our shoes and shoemakers, including Enrico Cuini himself, are Italian. Enrico Cuini shoes are made using the European system because we want you to have the most precise fit. We have found that women often make the mistake of buying shoes that are slightly too large, under the assumption that more space equates to greater comfort. Wearing shoes too big may create more space for your forefoot, but will cause other problems including foot fatigue, pain in the arch from the foot gripping onto the shoe, sore toes as a result of sliding forward, and blisters that come with heel slippage. With more variance between each half size, US sizing makes it much harder to get a precise fit.

“I’m usually between sizes”

Ever found that you seem to wear different sizes depending on the brand and style? Not all manufacturers are as Type-A about their measurements as we are. Enrico carves his own lasts and knows all the measurements. The most accurate way to get your size is to measure your feet in mm (see our chart for shoe sizes and conversion).

**If you have very slim feet or if your feet are wide in front and narrow in back, contact us for special instructions.

“I don’t know where my kids hid the ruler“

Not to worry! Send us a picture of your feet while standing on an 8.5 x 11 sheet of printer paper with your heel at the edge (the length of your foot should be parallel with the long edge of the paper). A side view is most helpful but if you can, take an additional picture from above.

If you have any other questions or concerns, please let us know. We are here to help you find the right fit, elevate your soles, and find happiness ever after.
